The Musical Staff of CVYS

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony strives to provide a unique opportunity for area youth to develop and showcase their music artistry in the symphonic tradition. To support that effort, UWEC Music Education students and community members are hired to be Section Leaders and work closely with the Music Director. Each instrument group has a section leader who works with students to develop their musical abilities.

CVYS Office Staff

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony hires a part-time employee and student interns to help coordinate office activities such as concert planning and promotion, planning events for CVYS students, coordinating the audition schedule and other basic office tasks. University interns have the opportunity to receive course credit for their hard work and dedication. Homeschooled students are welcome to help in the office and receive credits towards graduation.
