Inclement Weather Policy
If the Eau Claire School District cancels school, the Youth Symphony will cancel rehearsal. If schools are dismissed early, rehearsal will also be cancelled. If inclement weather occurs after school hours, any rehearsal cancellations will be communicated on this website and on social media as soon as possible. If school is delayed 2 hours, rehearsal will be held, unless otherwise noted on this website.

Your contribution will help fund four annual concerts, provide outreach to schools in western Wisconsin, and finance scholarships for students needing financial assistance in order to pursue their musical interests. Outside of tuition, CVYS relies completely on sponsorship and donations to continue providing value to the young dedicated musicians in our community.

Sponsoring a Chair
Sponsoring a musician’s chair is a great way to support someone you know or an instrument you love! Chair sponsors will be recognized in each concert program, listed under the musician chair that is sponsored. In addition, chair sponsors will be recognized on the website.
