CVYS Musician to play Carnegie Hall

Congratulations to Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony principal French Horn musician, Hayden Guckenberg, for being selected to perform at Carnegie Hall with talented high school musicians from across the nation in the Honors High School Band Ensemble. Hayden was successful in his application and audition for the 2017 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, chosen as one of 750 top-rated high school musicians from over 18,000 applicants. Hayden will join other finalists in New York City to work with world-renowned conductors and fellow accomplished musicians, culminating in a Carnegie Hall performance on Sunday, February 5, 2017. 

Hayden has been a member of CVYS for 5 years and is a senior at North High School.
